Functional purity
Fewer, better ingredients. Nothing harsh, nothing performative — only what your home truly needs.
Aeren was founded on a simple frustration: homecare that worked but felt harsh — harsh on skin, harsh on surfaces, harsh on the eye. We set out to make the opposite: functional, clean and quietly beautiful.
Every Aeren formula starts in our Stockholm lab with three questions: does it work in cold water, is it kind to skin and surfaces, and would we keep the bottle on our own shelf?
If the answer to any of them is no, we go back to the bench. That is why our range is deliberately small — nine essentials, each one earning its place. Concentrated doses mean less water shipped, less plastic made and less clutter under your sink.
Fewer, better ingredients. Nothing harsh, nothing performative — only what your home truly needs.
Hospitality-grade clean with a soft hand: pH-balanced, biodegradable and kind to surfaces.
Objects you never hide away. Cool steel, soft stone and quiet typography for the open shelf.
Refills for life, take-back pouches and carbon-neutral delivery on every single order.
Our founders — a chemist and an interior architect — start blending surface care that cleans powerfully without shouting visually or chemically.
Aeren opens a small refill studio on Norrmalmstorg. Locals refill the now-iconic Linen & Fig wash straight from steel vessels.
We certify as a B Corp with a score of 104.2, move to wind-powered production and publish our full ingredient glossary.
Aeren rituals reach 50,000 homes across 14 countries — and every bottle remains refillable for life.
“We don’t sell cleaning products. We sell the feeling of a home that is ready for you.”— The Aeren atelier team
